 In 2013 Local 405 built a 10KW solar array.  This page shows pictures of our installation, and a plant viewer which shows the output of our array.  We have been generating about 20 percent of the power we use.  If you would like to produce your own solar power call us at 319-396-8241 or visit our contractors page to find a contractor to install one for you.  Here is a link to our solar production viewer.  There you can see the current and historical output as well as the environmental benefits of our system. .
