Calls for Friday, June 5th:

Inside Wireman Calls:   

  • 3 JW CST – Long calls for EWD Data Center for commissioning. Training required for two weeks then transitioning to 2nd shift (17.3% shift diff) 5PM-330AM on 6/22/26. OSHA 10 or 30, background check, and drug screen are required. Report Tuesday or Thursday at 8AM for drug screen/background check, orientations are MWF. Paying $10 over scale and all OT at double time rate. Paying an additional $2 over scale for Foreman and GF.
 
  • 1 JW Baker Group – Long calls for EWD Data Center for the electrical side. Background check and drug screen required. Onboard at the shop M-F at 7AM or 1PM, site orientations are MWF. Currently working (5) 10s and an 8. Paying $10 over scale and all OT at double time rate.
 
  • 1 JW ACME – Long calls for ADM. Working (5) 9s. Paying $5/hr incentive per hour worked. Report to shop M-F at 7AM to onboard.
 
  • 1 JW Allied Power – Long calls for DAEC Nuclear Plant. Working (4) 10s. No red badge required at this time. Background check and drug screen. Report to site 6/1/26 at 6AM.
 
  • 4 JW Basepoint Building Automation – Long calls for building automation/control work. Paying $2.50/hour over scale. Pre employment drug screen and background check. Report ASAP.
 
  • 2 JW Bilfinger – Long calls for P&G. Drug screen and Iowa Journeyman license required. Report to the plant ASAP.
 
  • 2 JW Burns Electric – Long calls for QTS East Campus for duct bank/terminations. Working (6) 10s. Journeyman Class A required. Report M-F at 6AM to onboard.
 
  • 15 JW CST – Long calls for EWD Data Center. Currently working (6) 10s, starting at 7AM. OSHA 10 or 30, background check, and drug screen are required.   • 22 JW Cupertino – Long calls for QTS Data Center. Looking for JW, Foreman, and GFs. OSHA 10 or 30 and state electrical license required. Currently working (5) 10s with some Saturdays, 7AM-530PM. Orientations are M-Thur at 7AM. Paying $10 over scale and all OT at double time rate. Paying $2 for Foreman and GF.
 
  • 2 JW ESCO Electric – Long calls for work in the area. Paying $2.50/hour over scale. Report next day at 8AM.
  • 1 JW ESCO Electric – Long calls for Ingredion, background check & drug screen, working (4) 10s. Paying $2.50 over scale. Report next day at 8AM.

  • 1 JW Justice Electric – Long calls for commercial projects in Cedar Rapids. Working 40 hours a week. Report to shop M-F at 7AM.
 
  • 3 JW Koehler Electric – Long calls for QTS Data Center. Working (5) 10s and an 8, 7AM to 530PM. Working on Fire Alarm systems. OSHA 10 and Journeyman license required. Report M-F at 6:45 for onboarding. Paying $10 over scale and all OT at double time rate.
 
  • 2 JW MJ Electric – Long calls for QTS Data Center. Working (6) 12s, 6AM to 6PM, Mon-Sat. Paying $40 per diem. Working on underground/MV loops on the East QTS Campus. Report Monday for onboarding.
 
  • 1 JW Munson Electric – Long call for service truck work. Iowa Journeyman license required. Report ASAP.
  • 2 JW Munson Electric – Long calls for Rockwell Cedar Rapids. Iowa Journeyman license required. Report ASAP.
  • 2 JW Munson Electric – Long calls for work at the U of I. Currently working working (4) 10s. Some OT available. Report ASAP.
 
  • 1 JW Streff Electric – Long calls for commercial work in the area. Currently have work at Jefferson and in Tiffin. Journeyman Class A License required.
 
  • 2 JW Trey Electric – Long calls for work in Iowa City. Some OT available. Report ASAP.
 
  • 7 JW TriCity Electric – Long calls for QTS Data Center. (5) 8 Schedule currently working (6) 10s, Starting at 6AM. OSHA 10 or 30 and Journeyman Class A License required. Orientation is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7AM. Paying $10 over scale for licensed electricians and all OT at double time rate.
  • 2 JW TriCity Electric – Long calls for Iowa Memorial Union in Iowa City. Currently working (4) 10s, starting at 6AM. Report to site M-Th.
 
  • 4 JW Westphal – Long calls for QTS Data Center. Currently working (5) 10s with some Saturdays, starting at 6:45AM. Paying all OT at double time rate. Orientations are on site M-F.

VDV Technician Calls:

  • 5 VDV Tech Miller Electric – Short calls for EWD. OSHA 10 or 30, background check, and drug screen are required. Working (5) 12s and an 8. Paying $2 over scale and all OT is DT. Report Tuesday or Thursday at 8AM for drug screen/background check, orientations are MWF.

  • 1 VDV Tech Baker Group – Long call for work in the area. Interest or experience as a foreman preferred. Background check and drugscreen required. Report to shop at 7AM to onboard.
 
  • 3 VDV Tech TriCity Electric – Long calls for EWD. OSHA 10 or 30, background check, and drug screen are required. Working (5) 10s and an 8. Paying $2 over scale and all OT is DT. Report Tuesday or Thursday at 8AM for drug screen/background check, orientations are MWF.
 
  • 1 VDV Tech Basepoint Building Automation – Long call for work in Iowa City/Cedar Rapids. Paying $2.50/hour over scale. Security controls experience is preferred. Background check and drug screen required.

Residential Wireman Calls:

Electrical Mfg./Maintenance Calls:

  • 8 JW CBRE – CBRE is hiring for multiple shifts at the EWD Data Center to provide 24/7 coverage when the facility comes online. 4 JW on 1st, 2 JW on 2nd(17.3%), and 2 JW on 3rd(31.4%). Rotating from M-F to W-Sun is optional. Start date of 6/15/26. For more questions and to view the CBRE agreement, call or stop by the Hall. Their shift needs are as follows:

Inside Allocation Meeting

An allocation meeting will be held Monday, December 1st at 5PM at the Hall.

To avoid overcrowding the street, additional parking is available in the CRST lot.

A current dues receipt is required to attend. Staff will be available to print copies/process dues.
