A STATE ELECTRICAL LICENSE IS REQUIRED TO DO ELECTRICAL WORK IN IOWA. YOU CAN GET AN UNCLASSIFIED OR JOURNEYMAN CLASS A LICENSE AT HTTPS://IOWAELECTRICAL.GOV/

  • 2 JW ACME Electric – Long Calls for work at ADM. Working 5-10s and paying $5 over scale. Drug screen required. 
  • 2 JW ACME Electric – Long Calls for industrial work in the area. Paying $5 over scale with some OT available. Iowa Journeyman A License, OSHA 10, background check and drug screen required. 
 
  • 3 JW Basepoint Building Automation – Long calls for building automation/control work. Paying $2.50/hour over scale. Drug screen and background check. Report ASAP.
 
  • 48 JW CST – Long calls for EWD Data Center. Currently working (6) 10s, starting at 7AM. OSHA 10 or 30, background check, and drug screen are required. Report Tuesday or Thursday at 8AM for drug screen/background check, orientations are MWF. Paying $10 over scale and all OT at double time rate. Paying an additional $2 over scale for Foreman and GF.
 
  • 10 JW Cupertino – Long calls for QTS Data Center. OSHA 10 or 30 and Journeyman A electrical license required. Currently working (5) 10s with some Saturdays, 7AM-530PM. Orientations are M-Thur at 7AM. Paying $10 over scale and all OT at double time rate. Paying $2 for Foreman and GF.
  • 3 JW Cupertino – Long calls for QTS Data Center Second Shift (17.3%). OSHA 10 or 30 required. Working 5 (10)s with some Saturdays, 5PM-3:33AM. Orientations are M-Thur at 7AM. Paying $10 over scale and all OT at double time rate. Paying $2 for Foreman and GF.

  • 2 JW TriCity Electric – Long calls for QTS Data Center. (5) 8 Schedule currently working (6) 10s, Starting at 6AM. OSHA 10 or 30 and Iowa Journeyman A license required. Orientation is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7AM. Paying $10 over scale and all OT at double time rate.
  • 2 JW TriCity Electric – Long call for work in Iowa City. Steel toe boots required.
 
  • 3 JW Westphal – Long calls for QTS Data Center. Currently working (5) 10s with some Saturdays, starting at 6:45AM. Paying all OT at double time rate. Orientations are on site M-F.

vdv tECHNICIAN CALLS:

  • 1 VDV Tech The Baker Group – Long call for work in the area. Report to the shop Tuesday or Thursdays at 1PM for onboarding.
 
  • 4 VDV Tech Miller Electric – Long calls for EWD. OSHA 10 or 30, background check, and drug screen are required. Working (5) 12s and an 8. Paying $2 over scale and all OT is DT. Next orientation is 9/30/26.
 
  • 1 VDV Tech Nelson Electric – Long call for work in the area. Interest or experience as a foreman preferred. Paying $5/hour for BICSI and $5/hour for NICET Level 2. Background check, drug screen, and BICSI tech cert required. Report to shop M-F at 7AM.
 
  • 1 VDV Tech Nelson Electric – Short call for work in the area. BICSI not required. Report to shop M-F at 7AM.
 
  • 10 VDV Tech NTI – Long calls for QTS data center hanging cable tray, trapezes, data wire pulls. Working 54 hour weeks, currently working 68 hours. Report for onboarding on Mondays.

Residential wireman calls:

A STATE ELECTRICAL LICENSE IS REQUIRED TO DO ELECTRICAL WORK IN IOWA. YOU CAN GET AN UNCLASSIFIED OR RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICIAN LICENSE AT HTTPS://IOWAELECTRICAL.GOV/

  • There are no Residential Wireman calls currently.

Electrical mfg./Maintenance Calls:

  • 3 JW CBRE – CBRE is hiring Journeyman for multiple shifts at the EWD Data Center to provide 24/7 coverage when the facility comes online. Currently paying $10 over scale for Licensed Journeyman A. 4 JW on 1st, 2 JW on 2nd(17.3%), and 2 JW on 3rd(31.4%). Rotating from M-F to W-Sun. For more questions and to view the CBRE agreement, call or stop by the Hall. Their shift needs are as follows:

Inside Allocation Meeting

An allocation meeting will be held Monday, December 1st at 5PM at the Hall.

To avoid overcrowding the street, additional parking is available in the CRST lot.

A current dues receipt is required to attend. Staff will be available to print copies/process dues.
